KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 2 BUKIT SUNDI KABUPATEN SOLOK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN OBJEK LANGSUNG

Abstrak

The aim of this research is to know the achievement of the student grade VIII-1 SMPN 2 Bukit Sundi Solok Regency in writing a poetry base on direct object by using diction and figure of speech. This kind of research is quantitative data as a result of assesment to students poetry. This subject of this research consist of 20 students. The aim of this research is to analyze the students achievement in writing a poetry by using direct object. The collected of data is done by descriptive method. The result of analyze show that the students achievement in writing a poetry to determine diction and figure of speech can be devided as follow: (1) the use of diction accuracy by 68.3 meaning more than enough qualified, (2) use of diction based on the continuity of meaning is more than enough qualified 70, (3) the use of diction by 75 well-qualified student creativity, (4) in terms of the use of figurative language 100 qualified privilege, (5) in terms of the diversity of the use of figurative language 90 very well qualified, and (6) in terms of the suitability of the contents of 85 qualified good one. Based on the above analyze can be conclude that the standard of mark the students grade VIII-1 SMP 2 Bukit Sundi Solok regency in writing a poetry base on diction and figure of speech is 79,96. So, the students achievement in writing a poetry base on direct object, diction and figure of speech has good qualification by class average 81,61 .
