PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS VIII DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) DI SMP NEGERI 2 LEMBANG JAYA KABUPATEN SOLOK
Abstrak
This research base on lack of students’ learning activity and low ability in writing poetry in grade VIII 4 at SMPN 2 Lembang Jaya. In general some factors that cause low ability of students are less of reading poetry collection than the collection of short stories and other literatures. The aim of this research are to describe increasing learning activities and their ability in writing poetry for the student class VIII SMPN 2 Lembang Jaya Solok Regency by using CTL approach. This research finds there are increasing of student activity and writing poetry ability in cycle I and II. The average students activity in cycle I is 37,5. In cycle II average increase become 71,1 with 33,6% increasing from cycle I. Average students writing poetry ability in cycle I 75,68 and cycle II 86,27. Base on this result it can conclude students’ activity and poetry writing ability at class VIII 4 SMP Negeri 2 Lembang Jaya Solok Regency is increasing by using CTL approach.
