KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PARAGRAF ARGUMENTASI SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 7 PADANG

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of the students in the class to write a paragraph argument X SMA Negeri 7 Padang. Research purposes to describe the ability of the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang to write a paragraph arguing totaling 20 paragraph are seen from the characteristics of the paragraph argument. The theory used is presented Semi M. Atar about writing and presented by Jos. Daniel Parera about paragraph argument . This study is a qualitative study using descriptive methods . Based on the research problem and the analysis conducted found that more than enough essay students write a paragraph in the argument. Based on the four paragraph traits argument (1) writing arguments intended to convince others, (2) trying to prove the truth or a statement or issue, (3) change the opinion of the reader, (4) the fact that displayed an evidentiary materials, the most widely used are the second and fourth points. So it can be concluded that the ability to write a paragraph arguing Class X SMA Negeri 7 Padang by its characteristic argumentation paragraph pretty much classified as more than 20 students or (77.92).
