KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS BERITA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE JIGSAW SISWA KELAS VIII.8 SMP N 1 GUNUNG TALANG

Abstrak

The research is basrd on the low result os students achievement on writing news text. It isc caused by the students will to find new ideas in writing is very low, students feel bored in writing moreover there is no appropriate method for such a material yet. To overcome the problem, the writer tries giving solution by using the method of Jigsaw. This research is aimed to describe writing ability of news text by using Jigsaw. The result of the research shows that the expert group is able to determine aspects of title, parts of news, and EYD. While on the main group, there is a few students who are not able to anwer aspects of title, parts of news and EYD. Based on the result of the research, can be concluded that Jigsaw method can improve students ability in writing news text, especially in determining aspects of title , parts of news and EYD.
