Abstrak

The effect of using the Numbered Head Together model (NHT) model on student math learning outcomes Class V SDN 16 Surau Gadang Jose Andrian1, Ira Rahmayuni Jusar1 1Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bung Hatta E-mail : joseandrian61@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 16 Surau Gadang. This study aims to determine the effect of Numbered Head Together learning model on Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 16 Surau Gadang. This type of research is experimental research with a "posttest-only control design" design. The independent variable in this study is the Numbered Head Together learning model, while the dependent variable is Mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all grade V students of SDN 16 Surau Gadang in the 2022/2023 school year and the samples in the study were grade V.A students totaling 21 students and grade V.B students totaling 20 students of SDN 16 Surau Gadang in the 2022/2023 school year. The technique in sampling is by means of total sampling. The learning outcomes observed are the cognitive domain seen from the results of the final test of the study. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class where the experimental class learning outcomes (average 78.48), control class (average 74.25). By statistical test the price of tcount> t (0.05; 39) (2.21> 2.022) with the level (α = 0.05) then the hypothesis H1 is accepted. From these data it can be concluded that the Numbered Head Together learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of fifth grade mathematics students of SDN 16 Surau Gadang. Thus the Numbered Head Together learning model is expected to be used in the learning process to have a better effect on student learning outcomes.
