UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS IV SDN 05 ENAM LINGKUNG KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN Maghvira Audia Salsabila1, Zulfa Amrina1 1Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bung Hatta Email : maghviraaudiasalsabila0116@gmail.com ABSTRACT The background of this research is the low critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in Mathematics class IV at SDN 05 Enam Lingkung. This study aims to describe the increase in critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes for fourth graders of SDN 05 Enam Lingkung by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 19 grade IV students. The results showed that the percentage of students' critical thinking skills in cycle I was 62.89%, increased by 22.89% in cycle II to 85.78% which was included in the Very Critical Thinking category. . Student learning outcomes also increased in cycle I obtained an average of 71.52 with a percentage of completeness of 57.90%, in cycle II it increased with an average of 85.52 with a percentage of completeness of 89.47%. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model in learning mathematics can improve critical thinking skills and learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 05 Six Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency.
