PENERAPAN METODE QUANTUM LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 1 TANJUNG JABUNG TIMUR

Abstrak

The research is in background by the less of students learning that are the result of poor students to participate in learning and still shy for exploration of self. The research was aimed to improve student’s mathematic learning in class VIII at SMPN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur in academic year 2013/2014. The hyphotesis in this research was mathematic learning by using Quantum Learning method are better than the outcome of students mathematic learning using convensional method in class VIII at SMPN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur.  The design of this research was experimential study. The population was the eight classes of SMPN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur. They were distributed into five classes. In order to get sample, the reseach used cluster random sampling technique. The data are analyzed by using t-test. The result of hyphotesis testing with α=0,05 and df=41 then t_cont=4,85 and t_table=t_(0,95;79=1,67 a 95% at confidence level. Obviosly t_contt+table, meaning that the hyphotesis can be accepted a 95% at confidance level. The result show that mathematic learning by using Quantum Learning method are batter than the outcome of student learning mathematic using convensional method in class VIII SMPN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur.
