Abstrak

 

This research highest background low-self activity and study result of the students. Researchers still not use the method or model of learning cooperative which corresponds to matter in the learning process, do not give direct experience to students, still use the methods and an approach that is traditional for example, are still using a method of lectures. This research aims to improve the activity and results of the learn IPA in class V SD Negeri 02 Subdistrict Pakan Selasa Pauh Duo with cooperative learning model type of NHT. This research is in SD Negeri 02 Pakan Selasa, the subject of research grade V of 24 people. This research was conducted in 2 cycle. The findings of the study showed an increase of (1) the average results of the Cognitive aspect of student learning cycle I, 67 increased to 79.5 in cycle II. (2) average of the observations the implementation process of learning the teacher on a cycle I 66,25 increased to 94.5 per cycle II. (3) an increase in the activity of students with average in cycle I, 55,25 increased to 75 in cycle II. Based on the research findings and the results of the above, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model type, NHT can increase the activity and results of the learn IPA in class V SD Negeri 02 Pakan Selasa, and can be used as an alternative to implement learning IPA in elementary school.
