Abstrak

This study aimed to see differences in the application of cooperative learning model Guided Note Taking on learning biology class VIII SMPN 2 Pasaman Panti , in the academic year 2013/2014 . This research is an experimental study using a randomized control design only design . The population of this study was all class VIII SMPN 2 Panti Pasaman consisting of 4 classes . To determine the class of samples used purposive sampling technique , while it is to determine the experimental class and the control is done at random , then the experimental class is VIII.2 the number of students and class 29 VIII.1 control is the number of 29 people . The data in this study is primary data in the form of the final test results further processed with t test . From the analysis of data obtained t 1.88 > 1.67 ttable . Means  is rejected ,  is received and there are differences in the application of cooperative learning model Guided Note Taking with conventional learning . In the experimental class gained 78.62 higher learning outcomes when compared with the results of studying the control class is 75.34 , the average value of affective and psychomotor experimental class ( 94 and 76 ) is higher than the control class ( 90 and 71 ) . From this study it can be concluded , that the implementation of cooperative learning model Giuded Note Taking ( α 0.05 ) there is a significant difference in learning biology class VIII SMP 2 Panti Pasaman academic year 2013/2014 . Implementation of the learning model implement learning Guided Note Taking can be used in learning biology.
