PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS V MELALUI STRATEGI CARD SORT DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SDN 21 GANTUNGCIRI KABUPATEN SOLOK
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of reading skills of students in learning Indonesian especially fifth grade at SDN 21 Hanging Feature Solok . The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in reading specific to the skills of students in learning to read through the strategy Card Sort in Class V SDN 21 Hanging Feature Solok . This research is Classroom Action Research ( CAR). The subjects were 21 fifth grade students of SDN Hanging characteristic , which has 21 students . The research instrument used is the observation sheet student learning activities and teacher observation sheet activities , and achievement test . Based on the results of this research is the average percentage of the activity of learning to read is 50 % in the first cycle increased to 76.19 % in the second cycle . Implementation process of learning to read 59.53 % in the first cycle increased to 80.95 % in the second cycle . The results of the learning skills of reading 52.37 in the first cycle increased to 76.19 in the second cycle . From the results of this study concluded that learning Indonesian through Card Sort strategies can improve the reading skills of students in grade 21 Hanging Feature SDN Solok . Based on the research results , it is suggested that teachers can menerapkanstrategi Card Sort with both learning Indonesian in accordance with the material being taught .Keywords : Indonesian , Card Sort strategies , reading skills
