PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL KWL (KNOW WANT TO KNOW LEARNED) PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 15 INTI LANGSANO KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
Based on observations and interviews researchers at SDN 15 Core Lansano South Coastal District , researchers found a problem that reading skills in learning Indonesian is still low . In the learning process of teachers tend to use the lecture method , so that the students pay less attention to the teacher in the delivery of materials or learning process , students like to play around and fighting with a friend sebangkunya even some in and out during the learning process . The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of reading skills in learning Indonesian using models Know Want To Know Learned ( KWL ) . This research is the subject of research is the PTK with fourth grade students numbering 33 people . The research instrument was teacher observation sheet activities , students' reading skills of observation sheets , field notes and tests student learning outcomes . Results reveal that the average percentage of the implementation of learning by the students of the first cycle was 60.25 % , 83.33 % and second cycle . Percentage completeness student learning outcomes of the first cycle was 63.93 % , 75.60 % and second cycle . Means the target indicator in the study and implementation of successful learning through models Know Want To Know Learned             ( KWL) is progressing well . Based on the results of this study concluded that the learning model Know Want To Know Learned ( KWL ) to improve students' reading skills and learning Indonesian
