PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR DENGAN PENDEKATAN LINGKUNGAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 13 SALAK KOTA SAWAHLUNTO
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of motivation to learn science by fifth grade students in SD Negeri 13 Salak Sawahlunto. The purpose of this research is to improve motivation of students through environmental approaches in class V SD Negeri 13 Salak. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is conducted in two cycles. The data source is the fifth grade students in SD Negeri 13 Salak Sawahlunto totaling 26 people. The instrument used is a sheet of student learning motivation, student motivation questionnaire and student learning results. Based on the analysis sheet student learning motivation in asking in the cycle I is found that a classical average of 56.16 % has increased to a cycle II with the classical average of 75.40 %, the motivation to answer the question in the cycle I with the classical average of 54.54 % has increased to a cycle II with an classical average of 77.87 %. Motivation in responding to questions from teacher in the cycle I with an average 56.51 % has increased to the cycle II with a classical average of 75.49 %. And motivation to do a group task in the cycle I with a classical average 63.04 % has increased to the cycle II with a classical average of 81.21 %. From motivation questionnaire cycle I is found that a classical average of 73.55 % cycle I has increased to a classical average of 81.80 %. Student learning results also has increased mastery in the cycle I has increased 66.67 % to 83.33 % in the cycle II. From the resultss obtained can be concluded that there is an increased motivation to learn science by fifth grade students in SD Negeri 13 Salak Sawahlunto after using environmental approach.
