PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PUISI MELALUI METODE CARD SORT PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 006 PANGKALAN INDARUNG PROVINSI RIAU
Abstrak
The background of this research is the lack of ability to write poetry in students. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the ability to write poetry in learning Indonesian using the Card Sort can be improved. This research is a class research activity. The subjects of this research are the fifth grade students of SDN 006 Indarung which are consisting of 24 people. The instrument of this study is the observation of teacher activity sheets, observation sheets writing skills, poetry assessment sheet. The results of the research in cycle 1 obtained an average score of 73.4 students in writing poetry, while in the second cycle increased to 88.6. It can be concluded that the percentage of students writing poetry completeness of the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 15.2. This means that the target of indicators in this study successfully achieved. It can be concluded the implementation of Indonesian language learning by using Card Sort can improve students' ability to write poetry.
