AN ANALYSIS OF THE TENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN WRITING RECOUNT TEXT BASED ON PICTURE SERIES AT SMKN 6 PADANG
Abstrak
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out the tenth grade students’ ability in writing recount text based on picture series at SMKN 6 Padang. The design of this research was descriptive research. The population of this study was the tenth grade students at SMKN 6 Padang in the academic year 23/24. And the researcher used proportional stratified random sampling technique to select 48 students as sample. The instrument for collecting data in this study was writing test in the form of writing recount text based on picture series. To make the test reliable the researcher used inter-rater method. The result of the analysis showed that the test was reliable. It was proved by the fact that the coefficient correlation was 0,75. The result of this research showed that the students’ ability in writing recount text based on picture series was low.Referensi
