Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in motivation and learning outcomes of students in the fourth grade teacher attention explanation , ask , and answer questions . The approach used in this study is the approach of Brain Based Learning ( Brain -Based Learning Ability ). Brain Based Learning Approach is an approach to learning that deselaraskan with the workings of the brain is naturally designed to learn that learning is more fun and can trigger emotions of students . Based on the results of the study , the percentage obtained in the motivation cycle I pay attention to the teacher's explanation a number of 56.51 % , 80.43 % and the second cycle , the percentage of student motivation in asking the first cycle 49.99 % , 80.43 % and the second cycle , when answering questions discussion or answer the teacher's question first cycle 56.51 % , 78.25 % and the second cycle , the average value of UH in the first cycle and second cycle 69.73 % 80.17 % this proves that the second cycle had a lot of students achieving above KKM set the school is 75 . So learning science using Brain Based Learning approach can increase student motivation and learning outcomes . The results of this study concluded that the use of Brain Based Learning approach can increase student motivation and learning outcomes . Therefore it is advisable for teachers to be able to apply the approach of Brain Based Learning approach in learning science as an approach to learning science in elementary school.
