IMPROVING STUDENTS’ LISTENING ABILITY THROUGH ENGLISH SONG AT A JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

Abstrak

This paper aims at discussing about improving students’ listening Ability through English song at a junior high school. When students feel bore in teaching listening process, absolutely teacher should give an attractive and interest media to them. One of the media that can be used by the teacher in teaching learning process, especially in listening process is English song. English song is an easy media to improve students’ listening ability, especially students at a Junior high school. It is purpose to attract and grow student’s motivation in learning and mastery English, especially in teaching learning listening skill.  There are three activities in procedures of teaching listening through English song, they are: Pre- listening activity, Whilst- Listening activities and Post- listening activity.
