The Effect of Teams Games Tournament Model Assisted by Educaplay Application on the Results of Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Grade IV Students of SDN 01 Ulak Karang

Mathematics in elementary school education has many important benefits for students, one of which is that mathematics can help students solve problems in everyday life. In learning mathematics, problem-solving ability is a skill that must be possessed by students, especially in learning mathematics. However, in its application, students' problem-solving ability is still low. The low ability of students to solve mathematical problems in elementary school is caused by the lack of concepts given, in addition, many students who solve mathematical problems do not carry out the problem-solving process correctly. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of implementing the Teams Games Tournament model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This type of research is experimental research, using quantitative data. Experimental research is a research method that focuses on examining the cause-and-effect relationship of a more thorough and accurate treatment, and has proper control as the subject of the study. This is in line with the research conducted by the researcher because there are two treatments that the researcher applies, namely the Effect of the Teams Games Tournament Model assisted by the Educaplay Application and the Effect of the guided group model on the results of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the Educaplay application to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities which can be seen from the significance value <0.05 with a significance level of 0.003. In addition, there was also a significant difference in the average results between the experimental class with an average of 72.21 and the control class with an average of 52.69. So the results of the analysis showed that there was an influence of the results of the problem-solving abilities of the class that was given the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the Educaplay application compared to the class that was not given the treatment.Referensi
