PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI MODEL WORD SQUARE DI SDN 04 LIMBANANG KECAMATAN SULIKI
Abstrak
The purpose of this research is to describe about student’s increased participation and learning evaluation at fourth grade students in science subject in SDN 04 Limbanang, Kecamatan Suliki. The model which is used in this research is Word Square model. The instruments are students participation sheet and teacher’s activities sheet. Based on the analisist of student’s participation sheet researcher found the average of percentage for student’s asking indicator in the first cycle is 47,36%, it increasing on the second cycle to 76,31%. Student’s participation in answering question is 60,57% on the first cycle, then increasing to 81,57% on the second cycle. Student’s participation in doing exercise also increase from 68,41% the first cycle to be 92,10% on the second cycle. The average of student’s learning evaluation on the first cycle is 72,89 with learning completeness percentage 57,89%. The average of students learning evaluation on the second cycle to be 80,78 with learning completeness percentage 84,21%. Based on the research, so it concludes that Word Square model can increase student’s participation and learning evaluation in science at fourth grade student’s in SDN 04 Limbanang, Kecamatan Suliki and research suggest Word Square model can implemented by the teachers in learning science properly with the material that will be taught.
