KEMAMPUAN MENULIS CERITA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA KOMIK PADA SISWA KELAS IX SMP PERTIWI SITEBA PADANG

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research was inspired by the background of lower student’s interest in writing especially writing a story. The objective of this research was to describe the students’ ability at the class IX SMP Pertiwi Siteba Padang in writing a composition by using comic media. This research used theory was theory related to make a composition and story. This research was a qualitative study with descriptive data in the form of written words or oral enabled to be observed. This research used descriptive method to the collection of data and makes a conclusion. The object of this study were all students at the class XI2 SMP Pertiwi Siteba Padang totally 14 persons. From the analysis process can be seen that the students’ ability in wiring a composition by using comic media was good. Related to the result of research can be summarized that the class XI2 SMP Pertiwi Siteba Padang have already compiled a story by using comic media. It approved from 14 students, just 3 students that did not achieved the minimal passing grade criteria of 78.
