PERSOALAN HIDUP MANUSIA: NILAI MORAL KEMANUSIAAN DALAM CERPEN-CERPEN SURAT KABAR KOMPAS

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research aims to describe the human living problem on the short stories of Surat Kabar Kompas Edition from May to August 2013 from the moral value and humanism. This research used theory Nurgiyantoro (1995:324), was the types of human living problem consisted of human relationship with their-self, human relationship with other in social background including their relationship with the natural environment and human relationship with their God. This research was qualitative research with data result in the form of written word and oral which enable to be observed with descriptive method. The result of this research showed that the human living problem from humanism side on the short stories of Surat Kabar Kompas were (1) human relationship with their self, have moral value such as: afraid feeling, hesitative, angry, disappointed, regretting, cruel, instability emotional (2)  human relationship with other in social background including their relationship with the natural environment, have moral value such as: tolerable, corruptive, cruel to the children, friendship, hateful,  jealous, empathy and respectful. (3) Human relationship with their God, have moral value such as: the nature of belief. Based on the result of research to be expected to moral values on the short stories of Surat Kabar Kompas Edition from May to August 2013 can make the readers more understand the life. In addition, this research can be important literature to further research.
