This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN 27 Ladang Hutan in multiplication material, many students still have difficulty working on math problems on multiplication material, there are several factors that influence it, including many students who still do not understand the addition material so that they have difficulty in learning or working on multiplication problems, this is reinforced by practice activities that are not repeated or continuous so that students who do not understand will continue to not understand. students who have difficulty understanding learning because from the previous class there is material that they have not understood, in learning all learning activities are centered on textbooks, both material and exercises, students tend to still have difficulty mastering the material and some already understand but because practice is rarely held, many of the students forget how to work on the questions even though the material has been studied, this indicates that in class practice related to the material is rarely done and internal factors, namely students do not repeat learning at home so that when daily assessments or exams are held, students still get below average scores. It is also seen in learning that class teachers often discuss the core material without connecting it to the problems of students' daily lives. The type of research used by the researcher is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom action research is an action on a learning process carried out by a teacher in his/her own class which aims to improve his/her performance as a teacher so that student learning outcomes increase. This Classroom Action Research is carried out using the cycle method. The cycle consists of four components, namely planning which contains the objectives or competencies that must be achieved and special treatments carried out by the teacher during the learning process; action, which is the treatment carried out by a teacher based on the planning that has been prepared; observation is carried out to collect information about the learning process carried out by the teacher, in accordance with the actions that have been prepared; and reflection, which is the activity of seeing various shortcomings carried out by the teacher during the action process. The application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the Drill method can improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade III students of SD N 27 Ladang Hutan, Agam Regency. This is evidenced by the percentage of final tests in cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I, 4 students completed the test with a KKTP of 70, a percentage of 50%. While in cycle II, 8 students completed the test, a percentage of 100%. And the percentage of teacher observations in cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I, teacher observations at meeting I were 87.5%, at meeting II 90.38% with an average percentage in cycle I of 88.94%. While in cycle II, teacher observations at meeting I were 94.64%, at meeting II 97.32% with an average percentage in cycle II of 95.98%.
