Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to describe: (1) form of code switching in the event OVJ Trans7, and (2) cause of code switching in the even OVJ Trans7. The theory used in this study is about control of the code dilivered by Nursaid and Marjusman Maksan. This research is qualitative and descriptive data produce a form of words written or spoken can be observed. The method used is descriptive method is to collect as much data as 20 recordings from 15 july 2013 until 15 August 2013 and made a conclusion. The data in this study is a recording OVJ. Based on the results of data analysis that found as many as 47 froms and causes of data as code switching performed OVJ players. OVJ form of code switching in which the use of  language in Sundanes, Javanese, Arabic, English and slang language support. While the cause of code that is to evoke a sense of humor 19 data, the opponents said 12 data, the 8 data proficiency, attachment 7 data and only speaking for a prestingious 1 data. It can be concluded that the shepe and couse a lot of code that is found is to evoke a sense of humor. The purpose OVJ players switching codes is to entertain the audience and create a relaxed atmosphere.
