Development of Problem Based Learning Based Digital Flipbook Science and Technology Learning Media in Class IV Elementary Schools

Abstrak

To present content that can be understood by students, teachers generally use learning media as an intermediary. According to Mashuri (2019:4) learning media that stimulates students' thoughts, feelings, interests, and attention in addition to channeling lesson materials. According to several opinions of these experts, learning media is an intermediary tool used by teachers to teach students with the aim of facilitating their learning and achieving school learning goals. One application that can be used to create teaching media, especially digital-based ones, is a flipbook. According to Rahmawati, et al. (2022:118) Digital Flipbook is a digital book learning media that seems to be able to move when turning its pages. The purpose of this study is to develop a product in the form of a digital flipbook learning media that meets valid and practical criteria. In this study, researchers applied the research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. The stages of developing digital flipbook science learning media, this study refers to the ADDIE model, consisting of five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation Ashari, et al. (2023:26). The results of this study obtained an average validity result with a percentage of 90.11% while the average practicality result was 96.25%. This shows that the digital flipbook PBL-based science learning media on the material Indonesiaku kaya budaya is very practical to use as one of the sources or science teaching materials for grade IV Elementary School students.
