PENERAPAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE PAIR CHECK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NERGERI 5 KUBUNG KABUPATEN SOLOK

Abstrak

This research is motivated lack of interaction between teachers and students, and when the learning is done with a group of tasks and roles of each student is not performing well, because the formation and distribution of the group do not yet optimal, so that resulting in low student learning outcomes obtained. Therefore, researchers apply Cooperative Learning model type Pair Check in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine how students learning activities for implementing cooperative learning model Pair Check, and to determine whether students mathematics learning outcomes by implementing Cooperative Learning models type Pair Check better of the results on student's mathematics learning by applying conventional learning at VIII class SMP Negeri 5 Kubung Kabupaten Solok. This research is an experimental study. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheets and tests student’s learning outcomes. Observation sheet is done to obtain information about student activities at each meeting for implementing cooperative learning Pair Check. While the ultimate test is used to determine student learning outcomes after following the teaching and learning activities. data results of students mathematic learning obtained from the final test scores were given to the two classes of samples. So it can be concluded that the result of student mathematic learning who apply mathematical Cooperative Learning models type Pair Check better than the result of student mathematic learning who apply conventional learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kubung Kabupaten Solok.
