Abstrak

Abstract

 

The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to write essays direct object descriptions through tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh District 50 City. The theory is used as supporting material for a discussion of the theory of descriptions. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research method, the object of this research is class X SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh District 50 City . Judging from the description requirements , the results of students' skills in writing a description of ( 1 ) Details of the object is either completely ( 88 % ), ( 2 ) Establishing the reader's imagination is good ( 82.67 % ), ( 3 ) Delivered with alluring styles and choices terrible evocative word ( 10.67 % ), ( 4 ) Describe what can be seen, heard , and felt very well ( 85.33 % ), ( 5 ) Submission of using both spatial arrangement ( 77.33 % ). Judging from the results of the analysis of data from the five traits can be concluded that the description of essay writing skills through the description of the direct object class X SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh District 50 City classified more than enough ( 68.8 % ).
