The Effect of STEM Integrated Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model on Science Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students at SDN 13 Seberang Padang Utara
Abstrak
Abstract This study was motivated by the low science learning outcomes of students. In the learning process the teacher still dominates so that students are not actively involved, become passive and lack the initiative to develop ideas in their minds. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM integrated PjBL model on science learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experiment. With posttest only control group design. The population of this study were fourth grade students with the sampling technique using total sampling. The samples used were two classes. Data collection in this study using learning outcomes test in the form of objective questions. The average value of the experimental class was 82.35 and the control class was 67.81. The acquisition of data was analyzed to test the hypothesis with the independent sample t-test. From the results of this study it can be seen that the significant value is 0.002 which means that the Sig (2-tailed) value <0.05. So that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that the use of the PjBL-STEM model has an influence on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 13 Seberang Padang Utara in the 2024/2025 school year. The use of the PjBL model integrated with STEM has a good effect on the science learning outcomes of students so it is hoped that teachers can use it as an alternative in delivering subject matter to students.
