The Implementation of the Game-Based Learning Model Assisted by Wordwall Media to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Grade IV at SD Negeri 13 Pandam, Pasaman Regency

Abstrak

Abstract This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in mathematics learning at SD Negeri 13 Pandam. The study aims to describe the improvement in students' learning outcomes in mathematics using the Game-Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall media in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 13 Pandam. This research is a Classroom Action Research, consisting of two cycles, with each cycle comprising two meetings. The research subjects were 19 fourth-grade students of SDN 13 Pandam. The research instruments used in this study were teacher observation sheets and student learning outcome tests. Based on the research results, the average learning mastery from Cycle I to Cycle II increased from 70.89 to 84.47. The learning outcomes, as shown by the final test, indicate that in Cycle I, the percentage of learning mastery was 42.10%, while in Cycle II, it increased to 78.94%. This study concludes that mathematics learning using the Game-Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall media can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 13 Pandam. Based on this research, the researcher suggests that teachers apply this method in mathematics learning to enhance students' learning outcomes in mathematics.
