Abstrak

DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL GAMES OF DOMINO CARDS MATHEMATICS MEDIA ON ADDITION MATERIAL OF GRADE 2 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 05 NANGGALO TARUSAN Zilfa Muflihati1, Arlina Yuza1 1Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Bung Hatta University e-mail: zilfamuflihati01@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a product in the form of domino card mathematics media on addition material for grade II elementary school students that is valid and practical. This type of research is development research (Research and Development) with the research model used is the 4-D type, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. This study is limited to the development stage. This research was conducted at the beginning of the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research instruments include validity sheets and practicality sheets. In the validation process, the media was validated by 2 lecturers, namely (material experts and design experts). Based on the validation sheet, it was obtained that the mathematics media was in the very valid category (83,33%) for the material aspect and in the valid category (82.5%) for the design aspect. In the practicality process, this instrument was tested by 1 teacher and 15 grade II elementary school students. Data for practicality was obtained by the practicality sheet (teacher and student response questionnaire) which received a practicality score by the teacher of 91.66% stated as very practical and practicality by students of 93.95% stated as very practical. Based on the results of the research, educational games using domino card mathematics media are valid and very practical to be used as learning media for students and teachers. Therefore, it is recommended that domino card game media can be combined in the mathematics learning curriculum in schools, so that it can help improve the quality of learning and learning outcomes.
