PENGARUH TEKNIK PEMODELAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 2 KECAMATAN RANAH PESISIR KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstract
The purpose of this study was described the influences of modeling techniques toward writing skills of narrative essay for junior high school students at SMAN 2 Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir Selatan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The theory used in this study were; (1) definition of writing, (2) the types of arrangements, (4) definition of narrative essay, (5) Procedure of narative essay, (6) the characteristic of narrative essay, (7) modeling techniques. The type of research categorized as exsperimental reseach. The pupolation was class X SMAN 2 Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. For taking sample is doing random technique class X1 as an experimental class and class X3 as a control class. The data of this study is the result of learning on cognitive aspects. Data collection instruments used in this research is the result of the test in the form a description of students learning. The next, to continue hypotesis test using the formula ttest at level α = 0,05. Based on the result of data analysis, the researcher can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are taught by component contectual aapproach modeling with exspository learning (ceramah). Is different, because at the 95 % significance level obtained thitung = 2,8709 ang the table = 1,677. It is a evident from the values of the average experimental class student are 78,33 wilhe the average value student control was 71,04 . So that, the using of modeling tecniques give significance effect toward the ability of writing a Narrative essay for junior high shcool student at SMAN 2 Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.
