KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PUISI DENGAN OBJEK LANGSUNG SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 1 KECAMATAN KAPUR IX KABUPATEN 50 KOTA

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research is caused by the lack of writing poetry skill of the student’s in SMPN 1 on the first grade at Kapur subdistrick IX, 50 Kota district. The purpose of this research is to describe student’s skill in writing poetry with the direct object is viewed from the aspect of diction and imagery. The kind of this research is qualitative descriptive method. The research object is the student in SMPN 1 on the first grade , at Kapur subdistrict IX, 50 Kota district in 2013/2014, they are 26 students. The way to collect data in this research are (1) gathering the student’s poetry, (2) identification of diction and imagery, (3) analysis the diction and imagery, (4) describe the student’s skill, (5) make a conclution of data analysis. Based on the result of data analysis there are some conciutions: (1) the student’s skill in the first grade based on diction is more then enough with the average 64, 8, (2) the student’s skill in the first grade  based on imagery is almost enough with the average 54,7. Well, the conciution of the result student’s skill on the first grade  in writing a poetry with direct object is viewed from the aspect of diction and imagery is enough with the average 59,8.
