BENTUK DAN PENGGUNAAN KATA SAPAAN BAHASA MINANGKABAU DI KENAGARIAN SUNGAI JAMBU, KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR

ABSTRACT

This research problem is how the use greeting forms and kinship and non-kinship in Kenagarian Sungai Jambu Kecamatan Pariangan Tanah Datar. The purpose of the study describes the forms greeting core family, forms greeting family expanded, forms greeting, and use of the greeting said by people Kenagarian Sungai Jambu. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study is a structured interview technique. Researchers used four informants were two women and two men who use the language of Minangkabau in Kenagarian Sungai Jambu Kecamatan Pariangan Tanah Datar. Result in research shows that greeting in Minang society especially in the area of Kenagarian Sungai Jambu divided into two types in use is in kinship (greeting kinship) and greeting nonkinship.
