PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE INDEX CARD MATCH TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VII SMP KARTIKA 1-7 PADANG

Abstrak

One of factor that led many students of class VII at Junior High School Kartika 1-7 Padang under the Completeness Minimum Criteria (KKM) is the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts. To solve this problem, one the efforts that can be done is by implement Active Learning Study Strategies Index Card Match types. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying  active learning strategies index card match types and want to know the student’s understanding of mathematical concepts of VII class at Junior High School Kartika 1-7 Padang by applying active learning strategies index card match types is better that using conventional learning. The type of this research is an experimental research. The population is VII class at Junior High School Kartika 1-7 Padang in academic year of 2013/2014 which consists of six classes. The sampel was taken by using a random sampling technique and VII1 class was elected as the experimental class and VII4 class as control class. To determine the hypothesis was used t-test formula. After data processing was done, the data obtained was t = 4,794 and t-table= 1,669 at the 95% level confidence, so t-test > t-table. Thus the hypotesis is accepted. it can be conclude the student’s understanding of mathematical concepts active learning strategy index card match types students is better than undertanding of the mathemaical concepts than students using conventional learning of VII class at Junior High School Kartika 1-7 Padang.
