PENINGKATAN PARTISIAPSI SISWA KELAS V PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DENGAN METODE POINT COUNTER POINT DI SDN 29 PEBAYAN PENGGALANGAN PADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated lack of student participation in the learning visible , when the teacher asks the students to express opinions only 9.5 % of students who express opinions, there are many students who do not pay attention when the teacher explains the lesson, chatting with friends and look bench passive students who are still learning . The purpose of this study is to describe the increased participation of students in learning civics through Point Counter Point method in class V. This type of research is composed of two cycles PTK . The subjects were students of class V. The research was conducted in the second semester of school year 2013/2014 . The research instrument is the observation sheet student participation , teacher observation sheet activity . Based on date analysis , the average number of students participating in an opinion , discussion groups , concludes the first cycle of the subject matter 39.62 % increased to 73.78 % in the second cycle . Average percentage of students who had scores above KKM first cycle 52.38 % with an average of 70.95 increased to 85.71 % with an average of 83.33 on the second cycle . This means that the implementation of learning civics with Point Counter Point method can increase the participation of students as much as 34.16 % and can improve student learning outcomes as much as 12.38 % . It can be concluded that civics learning method in class Point Counter Point SDN 29 Pebayan Penggalangan can improve student learning participation .
