PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE TEAM QUIZ YANG DIAWALI DENGAN TUGAS RINGKASAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI KELAS VIII SMPN 11 KERINCI TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Abstrak

This study aimed to see differences in learning outcomes between teaching Biology to Active Learning Implementation Strategy Team Type Quiz which begins with the Task Summary Students in Learning Biology Class VIII SMP 11 Kerinci . This research is experimental research , the population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP 11 Kerinci . Sampling conducted research with random sampling techniques , samples were taken from two classes that the average value of daily tests biology students in semester one closer together , but it is also the same teacher , then do the draw , the results obtained from the drawing class VIII - 2 as an experimental class and class VIII - 5 as the control class . Learning outcomes are observed cognitive test results are viewed from the end of the study, whereas affective and psychomotor domains using the observation sheet supporting data used to determine the differences in learning outcomes . The data in this study is a final test results later on though with the t test . From the analysis of the data by using the t test , obtained t is 9.28 . When compared with the 1.67 ttable tcount > ttable . ( α 0.05 ) , so the hypothesis are acceptable . From the study it can be concluded that the results of biological studies using active learning strategies team type quiz show positive results , because the results of the experimental study on a class higher than the control class , which results in cognitive learning in the experimental class (average 84.68 ) , control class (average 80.9 ) , the affective domain of learning outcomes in the experimental class (average 76.2 % ) , grade control (average 72 % ) , as well as psychomotor domains of learning outcomes in the experimental class (average 77 % ) , grade control ( average 74 % ) . So it can be applied to improve student learning outcomes . Therefore, the biology teacher is expected to be able to use active learning strategies type quiz team , as one of the strategies in learning biology throughout junior high .
