MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA VIDEO DI SDN 10 LAMBUNG BUKIT KECAMATAN PAUH KOTA PADANG

Abstrak

This research of background by lowering of result learn student at subject of IPS. Goals  of research is to improve result learn student at knowledge domain, understanding of, analysis, and student attitude about fossil. This research is research of class action (PTK). Subjek Research is class student of IV amounting to 29 people. Research instrument the used is teacher observation sheet, student, and tes result of learning. Result of data analysis, known by execution of study with tired video media is quality of goodness ( namely 70). From other sideing that researcher also find that 1) knowledge of student about Field town history at cycle of I counted 14 people ( 48,27%) becoming 22 people ( 75,86%) at cycle of II 2) understanding of student about way of taking care of fossil in West Sumatra at cycle of I counted 8 people ( 27,59%) becoming 21 people ( 72,41%) at cycle of II 3) student analysis to is important of him know fossil situations at cycle of I counted 6 people ( 20,68%) becoming 20 people ( 68,97%) at cycle of II 4) attitude of komitmen student in taking care of fossil at cycle of I counted 11 people ( 37,93%) becoming 22 people ( 75,86 ) at cycle of II, Pursuant to result of this research, researcher conclude that result learn student can be improved by using video media. Of this conclusion, suggested to teacher to use video media to increase result of learning student at study of IPS.
