Abstrak

Education requires a teaching materials that can provide an improvement in the achievement of
the cognitive, affective and psychomotor . Written teaching materials that are less attractive and
difficult to understand students' learning activities can interfere with learning , especially in
biology , so we need a development of teaching materials in the form of modules . In teaching
materials that there is more emphasis on the cognitive achievement alone . Accordingly, the
research aims to produce a nuanced picture of the character education modules for deaf students
SMPLB . This module inserted the values of good character to form a noble personality
forparticipants didik.Penelitian This is a research development using the four models or stages ,
define ( defenisian ) , design ( design ) , develop ( development ) , and disseminate ( spread of ) .
study was limited to only develop stage . 4 people validator research subjects , 2 lecturers , 2
teachers and 11 students with hearing impairment . The data of this study is primary data
obtained from questionnaires validity and practicalities , then analyzed with descriptive analysis
. The results were obtained very valid module with an average value of 93.13 % . The module
also has a value of 91.6 % practicalities of teachers , with very practical criteria . Practicalities
of student grades obtained by 96.16 % on average , with very practical criteria
