PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI BELAJARSISWA KELAS IV DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI INKUIRI DI SDN 04 TERANDAM KOTA PADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of participation of student learning in social studies learning in fourth grade Terandam State 04 East District of Padang well in asking questions, express opinions, and answer questions in the learning process due to the teacher during the learning process are more likely to use the lecture method which adversely affects the student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to increase the participation of student learning in fourth grade social studies learning by using a strategy of inquiry in elementary school of 04 Terandam. Type of research is a class act . Object of this study is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 04 Terandam. The research instrument used was teacher observation sheet activities , student participation and observation sheet test sheet student learning outcomes. Based on the research results contained in the observation sheet student participation cycle I gained an average score of percentage participation of students to ask questions of 85.71 %, amounting to 64.28 % of expression , and answered questions by 40.47 % and increased in the second cycle to ask questions of 78.57 %, expressed the opinion of 85.71 %, and 73.80 % of answered questions. From the results of this study concluded that social studies learning using inquiry strategies can improve student learning participation fourth grade Terandam State 04. Based on the results of this study researchers suggest that teachers can implement the strategies of inquiry in the social studies learning well.
