Abstrak

This research is motivated lack of student participation , which is characterized by a lack of student learning in the learning partisipai such discussions , answering questions , and conclude the lesson . The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of methods Giving Question and Answer Getting to increase student participation in discussions , answering questions , and concludes the lesson on learning PKN . This research is a class act . Subjects of this study were fifth grade students numbering 17 people . The instrument of this study is the observation sheet teacher learning activities , student participation observation sheet . The result showed an average percentage score of student participation in discussion first cycle 40.75 % , an increase of 79.40 % in the second cycle , the first cycle answer is 52.92 % , an increase of 76.46 % in the second cycle and the cycle lesson concludes 49.95 % , an increase of 76.46 % in the second cycle . And learning outcomes 49.92 % in the first cycle increased to 77.45 % . This means that the target indicators in this study and the successful implementation of the method of learning Civics Getting Giving Question and Answer progressing well . Based on these results, it is concluded that the teaching Civics Giving using Question and Answer Getting to increase student participation .
