This study aims to find out about the types of mixed code and code causes of interference in Indonesian speech teacher at Al-Muhtadin MTsS estuary Sikabaluan county districts North Siberut Mentawai island. Theory were used (1) the teory proposed by Suwito (1984) about the kind of mixed code, and (2) Suwito (1985) on the causes of mixed code. This study is a qualitative research that produces descriptive data. Of the results of the study found (1) the type of intervention that consists of code, type the code into the mix, and mixed types of code out (2) the cause of the interference code consisting of, identification of roles, identification of diversity, the desire to explain and interpret. Based on the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the type of intervention that is frequently used code Indonesian teacher ar Al-Muhtadin MTsS estuary Sikabaluan country districts North Siberut Mentawai islands is the type of code into the mix, where teachers mixing using the first language (Indonesian) then Minangkabau language as a second language. While the cause of the interfering speech code on teachers at the problem of students not understanding the explanation of the teacher, so the teacher is more often explained by using the two languages that the students during the learning process is not rigid.
