PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA DENGAN PENDEKATAN WHOLE LANGUAGE DIKELAS I SD NEGERI 21 TANJUNG LOLO KABUPATEN SIJUNJUNG
Abstrak
This research is motivated low yields of Class I students learn to read 21 Cape Lolo Elementary School District Sijunjung . It is known among them is the teacher not to use a variety of methods in delivering course material . The purpose of this study was to describe the results of learning to read in the first grade students learning Indonesian through Whole Language Approach . Whole Language approach is a concept of language teaching as a whole , not separate - separated , with an emphasis on Reading Alound component ( read loud ) . This research is classroom action research , the subject of this study is the first grader who was 23 orang.Instrumen study is a student reading observation sheet , observation sheets teacher activity . Based on the analysis of students' reading observation sheet was obtained average - average learning results of observations in the first cycle is 61.4 , on the second cycle increased to 71.1 . Thoroughness of learning outcomes 60.8 % in the first cycle and the second cycle increased to 78.2 % . Based on the results of data analysis concluded that learning to read the Whole Language approach to class I Lolo Elementary School District 21, Cape Sijunjung can improve student learning outcomes .
