NILAI –NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM NOVEL TANIA KARYA ASYE SAIDRA

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This study aims to describe the values of character education in the novel '' Tania '' by Asye Saidra. The theory used in this research is the theory of character education are pointed out by Zubaedi, which includes 18 character education. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. Techniques for collecting data is (1) read and understand novel Tania Asye Saidra's work as a whole (2) records the data relating to the object of research, and (3)  clarify the data based on research issues. While the data analysis techniques are (1) data collected or analyzed are grouped according to the aspects of the investigation, (2) and then interpret the results of data analysis, and (3) formulate conclusions of the study results. Based on the results of data analysis found 15 aspects of character education that is religious, honest values, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, curiosity, spirit of nationhood, love the motherland, friendly/communicative, an avid reader, peace-loving, caring, responsibility, social and independent. While the 3 other aspects of educational value is not found, the value of democracy, cherish the achievements, and care for the environment. Based on the results of my research it can be concluded that the novel work of Tania Asye Saidra contains religious character education, tolerance, honesty, discipline, hard work, creativity, curiosity, spirit of nationhood, love the motherland, friendly/communicative, an avid reader, peace-loving, caring, responsibility, social and independent.
