PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKn KELAS V DI SDN 05 KINALI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT MELALUI METODE QUANTUM TEACHING

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the learning is less effective and less attractive given by the teacher . That resulted in low participation of students in learning . This study aimed to describe the increase in student participation in classroom learning Civics SDN 05 Kinali West Pasaman using quantum teaching methods . The problems of this study is the low participation of students when students ask questions , answer questions and respond to the opinion of friends . This research is Classroom Action Research ( CAR). The research instrument is the observation sheet student participation , teacher observation sheet teaching , the final test cycle sheets and documentation tool . Results of research on student participation , in the first cycle has an average 61.9 % and 78.1 % the second cycle , increased 16.2 % . Activities of teachers in the learning process in the first cycle and second cycle 63.5 % 77.5 % , an increase of 14 % . While tests of student learning outcomes at the end of the cycle , ie the cycle I and cycle II 64.5 % 84.2 % , an increase of 19.7 % . It can be concluded that learning by using by using quantum teaching methods can increase student participation in classroom learning civics in SDN 05 Kinali West Pasaman . Teachers are expected to make quantum teaching methods as an alternative in the learning process and the learning is done on an ongoing basis as well as learning other Civics.
