PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SEKILAS SISWA KELAS V MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SQ3R (SURVEY,QUESTION, READ, RECITE,REVIEW)DI SDN 05 MARABAU PARIAMAN
Abstrak
   This research is motivated by the low activity of reading students . By the time most students reading the bench, talking with a friend , another friend make noise and use methods that are less varied . This study aims to description student learning activities and reading skills of students through in -class learning model SQ3R V. Reference SQ3R learning model is taken from the theory that is proposed by Taufina Taufik and Muhammadi , while to read the theory used is the theory proposed by Henry Thunder Tarin . This research is PTK . The subjects were students of class V of 40 people . The instrument used is the observation sheet activities of students and teachers , student skimming activity , and achievement test . From the data analysis the average number of students who did the activity of reading , asking questions , writing conclusions , and answer the questions in the first cycle was 35.62 % in the second cycle increased by 68.75 % an increase of 33.13 % . The average number of students conducting skimming 54.16 % in the first cycle increased by 81.25 % in the second cycle there was an increase of 27.09 % . Average mastery learning outcomes increased from 63.75 to 83.37 in the first cycle to the second cycle an increase of 19.62 % . Based on these results it can be concluded that learning to read through the SQ3R learning model can improve the activity and the ability of scanning the fifth grade students of SDN 05 Marabau Pariman.
