RESULTS IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING CLASS IV CIVICS IN LEARNING METHOD GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) IN SD STATE 15 SAND CITY PADANG PASIR PADANG

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in subjects Civics. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in learning outcomes . This research is a class act . Research subjects totaling 22 fourth grade students . The research instrument is the observation sheet activities of teachers , students , and achievement test . The results of the data analysis , it is known that the implementation of learning uses the Group Investigation method reaches good quality ( ie 70 ) . Besides, the researchers found that : 1 ) knowledge of students who achieve mastery in the first cycle of 10 people with a percentage of 45% to 19 students with a percentage of 86 % in the second cycle . 2 ) understanding of students who achieve mastery in the first cycle were 9 people with the percentage of 41 % to 17 students with a percentage of 77 % in the second cycle . 3 ) analysis of students who achieve mastery in the first cycle of 7 people with the percentage of 31 % to 18 students with a percentage of 81 % in the second cycle . 4 ) positive attitude of students who achieve mastery in the first cycle were 11 people with a percentage of 50 % to 18 students with a percentage of 81 % in the second cycle . Based on the research results , the researchers concluded that student learning outcomes can be improved by the use of the Group Investigation method . From this conclusion , it is advisable for teachers to use the Group Investigation method for improving student learning outcomes in learning civics.
