PARTICIPATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF STUDENT LEARNING STRATEGIES IN LEARNING THROUGH IPA PROBLEM BASED LEARNING IN CLASS V ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 17 SUNGAI LIMAU PARIAMAN
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of partisipai students in science learning in class V. This study aims to describe Increasing Participation and Student Results In Learning Science Through Problem Based Learning Strategies in Class V elementary school 17 Sungai Limau Pariaman. The research is a class action research (PTK) was composed of two cycles. Location of the study is on the elementary school 17 Sungai Limau Pariaman. The research subjects in class V students totalling 26 people. The research instrument is the activity of the teacher observation sheet, observation sheets student participation, and achievement test. The results obtained, an increase in the average percentage indicator 1 in the first cycle is 53,84%, second cycle  69,23%, an increase of 15,39%. Indicator 2 first cycle average value 61,54%, average of two cycles 73,08% gained increasing 11,54%. Indicator 3 first cycle average value of 63.46%, the second cycle 75% increase of 11.54%. Indicator 4 cycle I gain an average of 61.54% in the second cycle was 69.23% so obtained an increase of 7.69%. Indicator 5 first cycle average acquisition value was 61.53% in the second cycle was 78.85% so obtained increase of 17.32%. The results of the final examinations first cycle of students with an average of 71.92. increased to 80.09 in the second cycle. Average values for the second cycle with 76.13 Based on this study it can be concluded, participation and learning outcomes fifth grade students increased.
