USING MODELS TO IMPROVE PARTICIPATION MEDIA AND SCIENS STUDY RESULT IN THE FOUR GRADE STUDENS OF SDN 15 PADANG SURAU GADANG
Abstrak
This study aims to improve the participation and learning outcomes of students in learning science in the fourth grade at SDN 15 Padang Surau Tower . One way to increase participation and learning outcomes of students at SDN 15 Surau Tower is to use media models . Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles . Subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 15 Padang Nanggalo Surau Tower . The research instrument used is the observation sheet student participation , achievement test . The results showed that the increased participation of students in learning science in the first cycle at 57 , 41 % increased to 83 , 33 % of students pay attention to the willingness of the teacher , the willingness of students to ask also increased from 50 % to 77.78 % , while the willingness of students in answering questions and responding to increased 48.15 % to 73.93 % . student learning outcomes of daily tests the academic year 2012/2013 with an average of 55 , increased in the first cycle to 63.15 and 80.74 in the second cycle becomes . This shows that the implementation of learning science using the media and participation models can improve student learning outcomes in science learning . Based on the results of this study suggested , that the media use the model may be optimized , teachers are expected to do a lot of learning to motivate and guidance to the students
