KEMAMPUAN MENULIS NARASI SISWA KELAS VII MTsN 1 KAMPUNG DALAM KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN

ABSTRACT

This study has been conducted by the students’ ability in writing narrative text at class VII still do not pass the passing grade (KKM) that has been decided 75. The purpose of this study was describing the students’ ability in writing narrative at class VII of MTsN 1 Kampung Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. It can be seen from the plot, the background and the point of view. In this research, researcher used the theory from Abdurrahman and Elya Ratna, M. Atar Semi, Gorys Keraf. This research was a qualitative research, so the result was descriptive data. Based on the data analysis shown that the students can write narrative text based on three aspects. They are the plot, the background and the point of view. It was supported by the fact that the result of the analysis in first indicator is moderate ability (65,96), in the second indicator, the result shown moderate-high ability(70,76) and in the third indicators, the result was moderate (64,61). So, it can be conclude that the students’ ability in writing narrative text at class VII of MTsN 1 Kampung Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman was moderate-high (66,41). In order to get optimal result, it was necessary the improvements in learning process especially in writing narrative essay.
