Abstrak

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine whether the learning outcomes of students learning math quiz apply giving accompanied by reward rather than a result of learning mathematics learning of students who are not applying the provision quiz accompanied by Reward. The hypothesis of the study is that the learning outcomes of student learning quiz apply giving rewards coupled with better learning outcomes than students who do not apply the lesson quizzes followed by giving rewards in learning mathematics class VII SMP 23 Padang. This research is an experimental study. The population was 23 students of class VII SMP Padang which consists of 8 classes . The results of hypothesis testing after processing the data obtained   t ' = 5.9 and t table = 1.6995 at 95 % confidence level, so that t ' > t table . Thus , the hypothesis is accepted that students' mathematics learning outcomes by applying the quiz administration coupled with better rewards than the mathematics learning outcomes of students who are not applying the provision quiz accompanied by rewards to students of class VII SMP 23 Padang.
