PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI KELAS IV SDN 22 KOTO LALANG PADANG

Abstrak

This research is motivated by interest and learning outcomes of students in learning science. The purpose of this study is to describe the increased interest and learning science process skills using an approach in the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 22 Padang Lalang Koto.
Type of research is a class action (class action research), the approach used is qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 22 Padang Lalang Koto total of 11 people. The data of this study in the form of aspects of teacher observations, student questionnaires charge sheet, observation and tests students' learning interests.
The results showed an increase in: (a) the average scores of students in the first cycle of interest from 66.66% to 90.47% in the second cycle, (b) Percentage of mastery learning students in the first cycle was 27% and the second cycle becomes 82% with the average results of the first cycle of learning and the second cycle 65 to 94. Thus, the use of process skills approach can increase student interest and learning outcomes in science teaching fourth grade at State 22 Koto Padang Lalang. For that reason, it is recommended to other teachers in order to use this approach in the process skills of different classes and can increase interest and student learning outcomes in science teaching at primary school level.
