Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of interaction between teacher and students, students and students. The lack of understanding of mathematical concepts students. Because of that, researcher used cooperative learning mode in Course Review Horay. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of student’s understanding of mathematical concepts and to saw are student’s understanding of mathematical concepts with the implementation of this mode is better than understanding of mathematical concepts students with conventional learning.This research is an experimental study. The research instrument consist of quiz and final test. Analysis of quizes, observer from the percentage of students who pass each meeting in the experiment class. From the 1st until the 8th quiz. Student's final test data by using  statistic are normally distributed and homogeneous. After processing the data obtained   t = 3,99 and , so that    > . So, the conclusion hypothesis is rejected. It means student’s understanding mathematical concepts who learn by using the cooperative learning mode in Course Review Horay better than student’s understanding of mathematical concepts who learn with conventional learning at VII class SMPNegeri 1 Sungayang.
